COVID-19 Update (09.02.20)

SOMOMEN takes COVID-19 health concerns seriously. We will continue to monitor the situation closely. We are planning to have Men’s Summit take place as scheduled.

We have some flexibility with dorm accommodations. If you would like more details about what options are available, please contact us.

For those the are unable to join in person this year, we JUST ADDED a VIRTUAL OPTION.

If I can no longer attend is there a refund? (COVID-19 related reasons)

COVID-19 REFUND UPDATE: If you are not able to attend due to COVID-19 related concerns, you may receive a full refund (including deposit). We have added a virtual option for those unable to attend in person, you may transfer your registration to virtual and receive the difference.

PLEASE CONTACT US ASAP TO CANCEL/CHANGE YOUR REGISTRATION. IF YOU ARE IN THE HOTEL OR MOTEL, PLEASE GIVE US AT LEAST 3 DAYS NOTICE SO ROOMS MAY BE RELEASED.

What COVID-19 Precautions are you taking?

For those attending in person, we are putting policies in place to minimize risks for all involved and limit contact between attendees. Here are the safety measures we are currently planning to implement for Men’s Summit 2020:

  • Temperature check for everyone at registration
  • Provide masks and hand sanitizer stations
  • Encourage masks to be worn by all attendees when and where possible
  • Social distance where possible
  • Spread out in dorms as much as possible and limit number of groups in each room from different areas

These are subject to change as new policies and guidelines are released prior to Men’s Summit.

How do I register for Men’s Summit?

Where will Men’s Summit take place? Directions?

Men’s Summit will take place at Cross Pointe Camp & Retreat Center, located on the Lake of the Ozarks.

 The address is: 31434 Main St, Rocky Mount, MO 65072. More details and driving directions can be found on their website.

Can I transfer my registration to someone else?

Yes. Contact the group you registered with or email Shannon with the name of the person to whom you are transferring your ticket.

 

Can I bring my son?

Yes we believe this is a great experience for fathers and sons. We do not offer a discounted ticket. You are responsible for supervision. While we do not stipulate a minimum age, The Summit is designed for ages 12 and older. 

 

Do I need to pre-register?

We STRONGLY recommend buying your ticket as far in advance as you are able to do so. Hotel and Motel registration sells out quickly. 

We allow walk-on dorm registration and registration only. If you register AFTER SEPTEMBER 11, you will be charged an additional $10/registration. 

 

If I can no longer attend is there a refund? 

(non-covid related reasons)

$30 deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE, but is transferable.  At ANYTIME, anything you paid may be transferred to someone else. Contact Shannon for details. 

  • Until August 25, 2020, everything you’ve paid, minus the $30 deposit is refundable. 
  • August 26-September 11, 2020, 50% of what you’ve paid minus the $30 deposit is refundable.
  • After September 12, 2020, everything you’ve paid is NON-REFUNDABLE* 

*Refunds based on a medical emergency will be handled on a case by case basis. 

**NO HOUSING REFUNDS OR OTHER REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN FOR LEAVING THE SUMMIT EARLY**

 

SUNDAY 9/27

Do you have a virtual option?

Yes! We added an individual and group virtual option. Services will be livestreamed. Two Workshops are included. Plus if you’re one of the first 100 guys to register to attend virtually, you’ll receive a FREE SOMOMEN HAT! More details on our pricing page.

 

What meals are included in my registration?

Meals are included in the price of every ticket. LFTL Steak Teams will cook dinner Friday and Saturday night. Saturday breakfast, Saturday lunch, and Sunday breakfast are also included.

Feel free to bring extra money to purchase snacks and drinks from the snack shack.

 

Are there group rates available?

At this time, we priced Men’s Summit registrations at the lowest price for everyone, so we DO NOT offer a group discount.

We do recommend registering as a group to make managing your group easier for you.

 

Is there assigned seating?

No. Seating in the Tabernacle is first come first serve.

 

Can I bring my RV/Camper?

Space is EXTREMELY LIMITED. Please contact Cross Pointe Camp and Retreat Center directly.

Call 573-365-0600 or e-mail Cross Pointe.

If you are able to bring your RV/Camper, you will still need to pay for BOTH the hook-up fee charged by Cross Pointe AND the Registration Only Fee at Men’s Summit.
